Olbia (Sardinia) — NOT Sassari city. Teaching is delivered on the first floor of the Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport building, approximately 100 km from Sassari. The uniss.it course record states the location simply as 'OLBIA'. The administering department (DiSEA — Dipartimento di Scienze Economiche e Aziendali) has its administrative seat in Sassari (Via Muroni 25, 07100 Sassari), but all lectures take place in Olbia and in-person attendance is expected. Accommodation for Olbia-based students is signposted via Cool & Young Residence (Olbia).

Kabul Tipi
Open access (no numerus clausus / no ranked competition) BUT with a compulsory admission check before enrolment. The uniss.it course record states 'Tipologia di accesso: Libero' (free/open access). However, admission is conditional on verification of curricular requirements and, where those are not evidenced, on passing a personal-preparation assessment: 'L'ammissione al Corso di Laurea Magistrale è subordinata alla certificazione del possesso dei requisiti curriculari predeterminati, o in assenza, al superamento di una verifica dell'adeguatezza della personale preparazione da parte di una apposita Commissione.' In practice this means: (a) Italian/EU-degree candidates go through an access interview (colloquio di accesso) held in fixed rounds; (b) international/visa-requiring candidates go through a formal eligibility screening plus a multiple-choice entry test and an English test in a fixed January–March application window. There is no published local quota (posti riservati) specific to IMAST — the university's general non-EU page notes that visa-requiring students are enrolled 'within the quota of places reserved for each study program according to the type of access provided (national or local programmed access)', which does not bite for an 'accesso libero' programme; EU citizens and non-EU citizens legally resident in Italy 'access university courses without quota limitations'. [uncertain: absence of an IMAST-specific non-EU numeric cap is inferred from the 'accesso libero' classification; no explicit cap or explicit 'no cap' statement for IMAST was found on the official pages]
Resmî Eğitim Dili
English — fully English-taught. Department page: 'The course is taught entirely in English in the city of Olbia - 100 Km from Sassari.' The uniss.it course record lists 'Lingua del corso: Inglese' and 'Lingua/e ufficiali di insegnamento e di accertamento della preparazione: INGLESE'. There is no Italian-language curriculum or partially-English track; the master's thesis must also be written in English ('La tesi di laurea magistrale redatta in lingua inglese'). Note: for the sister programme 'Master in Economics' at the same department the entry interview is in Italian, but for IMAST the whole process and teaching is in English.

There is no single published application deadline for EU/Italian-qualification candidates; admission runs through FIXED ACCESS-INTERVIEW ROUNDS, and enrolment (immatricolazione) is completed after passing the round.
2026/2027 ROUNDS (currently published, official Italian text): access interviews for Italian students needed in order to enrol for a.y. 26/27 will be held in (1) September 2026, (2) mid/late October 2026, and (3) the second week of January 2027 — 'Si ricorda che i colloquio di accesso per studenti italiani necessari per poter effettuare l'immatricolazione per l'a.a. 26/27 si terranno a settembre 2026, a metà/fine ottobre 2026 e nella seconda settimana di gennaio 2027.' Exact calendar days for these three 2026/27 rounds have not been published; only the month/period is given. [uncertain: exact days of the three 2026/27 interview rounds]
2025/2026 ROUNDS (previous year, for comparison, from the same page before the September 2026 update): September 2025, mid/late October 2025, and the second week of January 2026.

International (visa-requiring) candidates follow a separate, EARLIER and much tighter calendar than EU candidates, run by the DiSEA department.
2026/2027 CYCLE (as published, now closed):
1. ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION WINDOW: 1 January 2026 – 31 March 2026. 'VERIFY YOUR ELIGIBILITY: from 1 January to 31 March.' Candidates had to complete a Google Form (https://forms.gle/mt3MegggfLEdvkgp9) between 1 January and 31 March 2026, uploading a passport or identity card and a transcript of their Bachelor's degree in English, plus a regularly monitored email address.

Akademik geçmiş
ACCEPTED DEGREES: A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign qualification). Direct curricular fit is assumed for Italian classes ex D.M. 270/04 L-18 (Scienze dell'economia e della gestione aziendale) and L-33 (Scienze economiche), or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad.
CREDIT (ECTS/CFU) REQUIREMENT: Candidates from other degree classes must document the equivalent of at least 40 CFU/ECTS across the following Italian scientific-disciplinary sectors (SSD): economic area SECS-P/01, SECS-P/02, SECS-P/03, SECS-P/06, SECS-P/12; economic-managerial area SECS-P/07, SECS-P/08, SECS-P/09, SECS-P/10; mathematical-quantitative area SECS-S/01, SECS-S/03, SECS-S/04, SECS-S/05, SECS-S/06; legal area IUS/01, IUS/04, IUS/05, IUS/06, IUS/09. For candidates holding a foreign degree the curricular check is made by reference to the actual content of the courses taken ('la verifica curriculare farà riferimento ai contenuti delle specifiche attività didattiche'), not to the Italian SSD codes literally.
SUBSTANTIVE COMPETENCES ASSESSED: analysis of the company's economic and financial performance; ability to understand the environmental/business context from an economic and financial perspective; quantitative problem-solving skills; knowledge of basic descriptive-statistics techniques; ability to analyse economic and business problems. The department publishes a detailed 'Basic knowledge requirements' syllabus covering (i) business administration (systemic approach to the firm, organisational structure, firm/environment relationship and stakeholder theory, conditions of sustainable profitability, purpose and structure of financial statements, financial performance analysis)
Dil yeterliliği
English at CEFR level B2 is required: 'English at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages' and, in the official Italian course record, 'è richiesta una padronanza della lingua inglese almeno pari al livello B2 o equivalente'.
HOW IT IS EVIDENCED: UNISS does NOT publish a fixed score table (no IELTS / TOEFL / Cambridge minimum-score list is given anywhere on the official course or department pages). Instead, English proficiency is verified by the university itself: 'A tal fine è previsto l'accertamento delle conoscenze e competenze nella lingua inglese, esonerando gli studenti in possesso di corrispondente certificazione linguistica internazionale' — i.e. an English assessment is administered, and candidates already holding a corresponding recognised international language certificate are exempted from it. For international applicants the assessment takes the concrete form of 'a written multiple-choice English test' delivered as part of the entry test session. Which certificates and which levels qualify for exemption is decided case by case and is not listed publicly. [uncertain: exact list of accepted certificates and minimum scores — no fixed score table published]
Also note that 'English for Business' (6 CFU) is available as an elective inside the programme, and the thesis must be written in English.
Sınav / değerlendirme
YES — there is a compulsory admission assessment, but its format differs by candidate profile, and BOTH the academic component and the English component are genuinely admission-determining for international candidates (neither is purely diagnostic).
A) INTERNATIONAL / VISA-REQUIRING CANDIDATES — 'ENTRY TEST', two components:
1. An academic component: a MULTIPLE-CHOICE TEST on business, quantitative, economic and legal topics (the 'Basic knowledge required' syllabus), OR an interview in its place — 'Participation in the entrance test, which consists of multiple-choice test (or in an interview) to verify the candidate's requirements and personal preparation'. For IMAST specifically: 'To be admitted to the Master's Degree in Innovation Management for Sustainable Tourism, you must pass a multiple-choice test on business, quantitative, economic and legal topics (basic knowledge required).' This is pass/fail and gates admission.
3. Hazırlanacak belgeler
FOR THE INTERNATIONAL ELIGIBILITY / ENTRY-TEST STAGE (explicitly listed by the department):

ACADEMIC YEAR OF THE DATA: The core admission data is CURRENT for 2026/2027. The DiSEA IMAST page was last updated 3 September 2026 ('Data di ultimo aggiornamento: 03 Settembre 2026') and explicitly gives the 2026/27 access-interview rounds; the international enrolment page (node/159) gives the completed 2026/27 international cycle (1 January – 31 March 2026 window, tests March–April 2026, now closed). The 2025/2026 data is retained above only for comparison. The 2027/2028 international calendar has not yet been published.
ACCESS METHOD — BOT PROTECTION: The live uniss.it and disea.uniss.it sites are behind AWS WAF / a human-verification (CAPTCHA) challenge and returned HTTP 405 to direct fetches; a browser attempt landed on a 'Human Verification' interstitial, which was not bypassed. All content above was therefore read through Internet Archive Wayback Machine captures of the official pages. Captures used: (a) fresh captures requested on 5 September 2026 — https://web.archive.org/web/20260905163842/https://www.disea.uniss.it/it/i-nostri-corsi/laurea-magistrale-innovation-management-sustainable-tourism-imast , https://web.archive.org/web/20260905164028/https://www.disea.uniss.it/it/node/159 , https://web.archive.org/web/20260905164103/https://www.disea.uniss.it/it/node/160 ; (b) https://web.archive.org/web/20260609144836/https://www.uniss.it/it/didattica/offerta-formativa/lauree-magistrali/innovation-management-sustainable-tourism (9 June 2026); (c) https://web.archive.org/web/20260411114719/... No third-party aggregator was used as a source.
CAMPUS: Confirmed as OLBIA, inside the Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport building (first floor), ~100 km from Sassari — NOT Sassari city. The DiSEA department's administrative address (Via Muroni 25, Sassari) appears in page footers and must not be mistaken for the teaching location.
DOUBLE DEGREE: The Babeș-Bolyai University (Cluj-Napoca, Romania) double degree in 'Business Administration in International Hospitality and Tourism' is confirmed, with semesters 3 and 4 spent abroad, agreement renewed in 2024, validity 2020/21–2027/28. It applies only to 'a group of selected students' — it is an in-programme selection, not automatic on admission. The selection criteria, application procedure and number of places are NOT published on the official pages, and the agreement's stated validity ends with 2027/28, so continuation beyond that year is unconfirmed.
EXACT INTERVIEW DATES: The 2026/27 access interviews are given only as month/period (September 2026; mid/late October 2026; second week of January 2027) — no exact calendar days are published for 2026/27. Specific day-level dates that circulate for 2025/26 (e.g. 8 and 11 September 2025, 29–30 October 2025, 9 January 2026) were NOT found in this form on the official uniss.it / disea.uniss.it pages; the official page states only the months for that year too. Candidates must contact bpes@uniss.it or didatticadisea@uniss.it for exact dates.
LANGUAGE EVIDENCE: There is NO fixed IELTS/TOEFL/Cambridge score table published by UNISS for this programme. B2 is the stated level; proof is either an accepted international certificate (which exempts the candidate from the university's own English assessment) or passing the written multiple-choice English test in the entry-test session. Which certificates qualify, and at what score, is not published.
ADMISSION TYPE NUANCE: The official record classifies access as 'Libero' (open access), yet passing the entry test / access interview is a hard precondition for enrolment. This is best described as 'open access with a compulsory pass/fail admission assessment', not as a ranked competitive selection. No IMAST-specific numeric quota for non-EU visa students was found on any official page; the absence is consistent with 'accesso libero' but is not explicitly stated for this programme.
EXAM PLATFORM: The entry test is described as 'likely to be conducted remotely' with a link sent by email, but no platform (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Zoom) is named on the official pages.
CONDITIONAL ENROLMENT: No formal 'immatricolazione con riserva' rule with an explicit degree-completion cut-off date (e.g. 31 December) is published on the IMAST or DiSEA pages. The operative published constraints are the three interview rounds (last one in the second week of January 2027) and, for visa students, enrolment by 15 January. Any claim of a 31 December degree-completion rule should be verified directly with the department.
CONTENT CHANGED BETWEEN VERSIONS: Accommodation guidance changed from A.L.M.A. s.r.l. / Geovillage (2025/26 version) to Cool & Young Residence (2026/27 version); the ERSU deadline moved from 8 September 2025 to 7 September 2026 (1 PM Italian time) and MAECI from 16 May 2025 to 26 March 2026. The fee ceiling statement (max €1,620) and the 'no UNISS scholarships for international students' statement are unchanged across both versions.
